I would like to encourage people who are profoundly deaf and especially try to help those who have a passion for music. I am happy to support anyone on their journey before and after implantation.
I can provide information to prospective implant users so they can make an informed decision about what is right for them. When I started thinking about implantation, what I really missed was someone who had already been through a situation like mine, so I hope I can offer that to others!
I want to help candidates to make sure it is a decision that they definitely want. The decision to have an operation like this is life changing. And I know how it feels.
